Hello and thank you for visiting this site.

I would like to ask for your support in raising money for Leonard Cheshire, a charity dedicated to creating opportunities for people with disabilities.

Leonard Cheshire is the leading voluntary provider of care services to disabled people in the UK, supporting more than 15,000 disabled people through over 140 services. Leonard Cheshire also supports services to disabled people in 55 countries around the world.

I ran the Prague half marathon (photos) on Saturday 23 March 2002 will be running the London marathon on Sunday 14 April 2002 and am hoping to raise at least £1000 for Leonard Cheshire.  I have run for Leonard Cheshire before, in 1995 and 1999.

London 2002 will be my sixth marathon, the others being London 1990, 1995, 1997, 1999, and Berlin 2001.  I have resigned myself to the fact that I will not beat my PB of 3.46 (1990) so this year I will just be happy to get around in under 4.45.
