Thank
you for visiting this site. I am running the London Marathon on Sunday
22nd April 2012.
I would like to ask for your
help in raising money
for Leonard Cheshire Disability, a charity campaigning for change and
providing innovative services to give disabled people the
opportunity to live life their way.
Leonard Cheshire
Disability works for better opportunities for disabled people
worldwide in education, work and everyday life. The
charity supports thousands of disabled people both in the UK
and in more than 50 other countries. They help people with physical
impairments, learning difficulties and long-term health conditions,
as well as their carers, friends and families. The needs and
aspirations of disabled people are at the heart of what they do. By
providing services and helping everyone to understand disability and
combat discrimination, they aim to remove the barriers that can stop
people with disabilities from pursuing their goals and living their
lives to the full.
They are very special people doing a
wonderful job and deserve your support. You can find out more
about Leonard Cheshire Disability from their website here.
This
video has details of experiences of previous Leonard Cheshire
Disability runners.
This is
my fifth run for Leonard Cheshire Disability and 15 years since my
first run for them (also my 15th marathon).

Please note that by donating online, you will help save time and money
for the charity, not to mention saving me a lot of administration.
Your gift will be transferred directly into the charity's bank
account, and if you are a UK taxpayer, a further amount will be automatically
added to your donation at no extra cost to you.
Mission is to provide
first-class education, therapy, medical support and independence training
for young people with physical disabilities in a caring and supportive
