ISACA LONDON CHAPTER : ADVERTISING RATES (May 2001)

There are four ways of advertising with ISACA London Chapter:

Datawatch.

'Datawatch' is the quarterly magazine with a very defined target audience of Information Systems, audit and security professionals.

Mailshot.

'Mailshot' is a monthly newsletter distributed to the same audience as above.

Inserts

Inserts can be included with Datawatch and Mailshot for varying advertising purposes, for example, vacancies, new products.

Direct mailing

Can occur at any time and can be used for a variety of advertising purposes.


1.  Datawatch

1.1.  Charges

Display Advertisements (Monochrome Only)

  • Inside Front Cover £580

  • Inside Back Cover £580

  • Full Page £465 (£550 for right facing page)

  • Half page £350 (£415 for right facing page)

  • Quarter Page £175 (£210 for right facing page)

Colour supplements (Please add to monochrome prices)

  • Spot Colour @ £65 per colour

  • Full Process Colour @ £255

Layout & artwork

  • Charged @ £21 per hour

1.2.  Inserts

We can distribute advertising copy as inserts within 'Datawatch’. For inserts weighing less than 50grams a flat fee of £790 will be charged. Weight in access of this will occur additional charges, being: -

  • 50-100grams: 17p per insert

  • 101-200g: 38p per insert

  • 201-300g: 60p per insert

  • 301-400g 85p per insert

  • 401-500 105p per insert

Thus for an insert weighing 250g it would cost the standard £735 plus weight supplement of £350 (600x55pence) totaling £1080.

Orders for distribution in four or more consecutive editions of 'Datawatch', if accompanied by advance payment, will attract a 25% discount on quoted prices.

2.  Mailshot

2.1.  Charges

The Mailshot is a newsletter designed to inform our members about ISACA related events and training courses. It is distributed monthly to over 750 computer auditors comprising ISACA London Chapter (as at April 2001)

We can distribute advertising copy as inserts within the 'Mailshot’. Prices are based upon an access charge for ISACA membership and handling charges.

For Inserts above 50grams in weight additional charges will be levied to cover additional distribution costs.

Access Charge £525. Weight per insert per Datawatch. Please note photocopies will be charged at 21p per A4 side.

2.3.  Discount policy

Orders for distribution in six or more consecutive editions of the 'Mailshot', if accompanied by advance payment, will attract a 25% discount on quoted prices.


3.  Direct Mailing

3.1.  Charges

We can undertake direct mailing to London Chapter members on your behalf at any time outside our normal distribution timetable as a 'special mailing'. Items for distribution MUST be received at the Chapter Office at least 5 WORKING DAYS before the distribution is required. Prices are based upon an access charge to our members plus a handling charge.

Access Charge £600. Please note photocopies will be charged at 21p per A4 side.

3.2.  Personalized letters

We can provide a service to personalize letters sent to our members on your behalf. This service can only be provided for standard A4 letters, (i.e. we cannot personalize calendars, pens etc.). The headed stationary that you wish us to use must be received at the Chapter Office at least ten working days before the distribution is required. Please confirm quantities with Chapter Administrator before dispatch. If you require this service please add £315 to the Direct mailing rates quoted above

3.3.  Discount policy

Orders for six or more direct mailings will attract a discount of 25% on the quoted rates if accompanied by advance payment


4.  Terms and Conditions

  1. Instructions will only be accepted if accompanied by a purchase order or a formal request on company headed notepaper. We regret that we cannot act upon a telephone request unless there is a pre-existing and stable commercial relationship with a client.
  2. All Instructions must be accompanied by payment unless there is a pre-existing and stable credit relationship with the customer.
  3. Advertising copy for 'Datawatch' must be provided in a filmable form.
  4. The ISACA London Chapter accepts no responsibility for grammatical, spelling, layout or other errors in copy supplied by the customer.

  5. The London Chapter of ISACA accepts no responsibility for the publication of adverts or the distribution of literature that arrives later than the specified dates.

  6. The London Chapter of ISACA will invoice work undertaken for customers. Payment is required within 30 days of the date appearing on the invoice.

  7. The London Chapter of ISACA reserves the right to factor bad debts and to refuse further business dealings with customers who have outstanding debts to the Chapter.

  8. The London Chapter of ISACA reserves the right to refuse publication or distribution of material which discriminates on the basis of race, gender, religious conviction, age, which may be interpreted as offensive by our members, which breaches current legislation or fails to comply with advertising industry standards and codes of practice.

  9. Payment must be made by cheque or bankers draft. Currently, the London Chapter has no facility to receive payment by credit card or electronic transfers.

  10. Customers purchasing display or premium ads in 'Datawatch' will receive one complementary copy of the magazine. Additional copies may be supplied if required at a charge of £3.50 per copy. Purchase orders are required for additional copies.

  11. With personalized mailings it is our usual practice to include an information slip to reassure members that the mailing was processed by the Chapter Administrator and that their names and addresses have not been passed on to outside organizations.
